Something more normal

I'm getting the impression that the creative cat was a bit obscure for some folks, so here are a few more pics to let you know that life at Marshmead is a beautiful thing (and not just weird).

Last term Roland and I spent a few of our days off sailing around the Mallacoota Inlet in our 18ft yacht. Sometimes we needed to lower the sails and use the little motor due to a lack of wind or to travel against it.

Sailing into the Narrows as the sun lowered.

Travelling under sail is wonderfully quiet, but even with the little motor putting along, it is still a relaxing way to travel.

The Narrows straight ahead.

Sun rise on the lake is always amazing.

Sunrise at Allens Head

And even when there is no spectacular sun, the stillness of the morning is worth getting out of the sleeping bag for.

Morning stillness at Captains Creek

And at the end of our adventures, we return to where the fast boats live. Once the Courtesan (that's the name of the boat) is unloaded, we paddle and pull it around the corner to live in the creek until next time.

Girl from Marshmead breaks her silence!

Hello all you Creative Cats out there. I think it's fair to say that if this picture doesn't make you laugh, nothing will!

Birthday Weekend

Here is a snapshot as to what Lisa might look like on her wedding day, with a beautiful head piece and veil.

Daddy gave Mummy a very nice bottle of wine - she was very impressed and loved her little note as well. Good job Dad!

Mother's day 07

What a lovely time we had at Lisa's for Mothers day. With two wonderful mothers present.

No bones for them puppy dogs while Em is here.

Not long and I will be able to stand up.

Looks who's peeking through.
Newbie ( Alias Aaron ) is fitting in very well. He likes the food, the wine and the company.
Especially the company of one of the Pikes in particular.

What advice would Phil like to give Aaron or the other way around?

Mother's Day

Here are some photos that Julia took on Mother's Day. A lovely day was spent by all at Lisa's house.

MMMM, Chicken bones are sooooo tasty....

AHHHH, what is that on Aaron's head..... says Abi

Happy Mother's day Nanny - "I'll show you how to open it Nanny"

A little game of Bocci for the boys and Abi.

Thanks Mila mee for a lovely lunch, now you look tired.

What could make Lloyd and Phil laugh so hard......

Ahh, yes, that would do it!

I love my Nanny, especially after her giving me my bottle... thanks Nanny

Pikes meet the Browns

Here are some photos from the first meeting of the two families that Lisa will be apart off. A good night was had by all.
The two official son in laws... talking beer no doubt. Not often LLoyd is more dressed up than Phil, maybe Lloyd has his trackies on underneath(?)

What cute kids, if I do say so myself!

Come on Dad, no need to pull faces...That's much better.

Phil and Lisa's Baby Boy

The 3rd member of the Brown family...

6 Weeks and 4 days to go

Ok - So I'm not officially a Brown yet but I need to start getting used to the name. This picture was taken about 2 weeks before we got engaged and now it is only 6 weeks until our wedding - very exciting!!
Phil and I have been really enjoying this engagement period. It's been great planning the big day and also our life together. We can't wait and are really excited about 10 days away in tropical paradise to relax. Phil is also looking forward to becoming the proud father of Moses. I often take Moses to Oakleigh to visit his new Dad and he already has a cute little dog kennel to call his own.
